What we collect and why

What this covers

This policy explains what ICDATT LLC ("ICDATT", "we") collects when you use icdatt.com, why, where it goes and how long we keep it. It applies to the website, its forms and its interactive tools. It does not cover data we process for clients under a contract, which is governed by that contract.

Data you give us through forms

When you submit the contact form, request a discovery call, download a resource, ask for a security snapshot report or sign up for the monthly note, we collect what you type: your name, work email, company, phone number if you give it, the services and budget range you select, your message, and any tool summary you chose to send with it.

That data is emailed to a named mailbox at ICDATT and, where configured, forwarded to our email provider to send you a confirmation. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. We keep form submissions for 24 months, then delete them unless they became a client relationship.

Data the interactive tools use

The scope builder, migration calculator, security snapshot, AI explorer, mobile estimator and tier comparison run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us unless you press a button that says so ("Send this brief to ICDATT", "Email me the full report"). Your inputs are encoded into the page URL so you can bookmark or share a result; be aware that a shared link contains those inputs.

Analytics

We use cookie-less analytics (Plausible) when it is enabled. It records page views, referrers, the events listed on our security page (for example that a calculator was completed) and coarse device information. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. Because nothing is stored on your device, no consent banner is shown. If we ever add marketing cookies, this policy will change and a consent prompt will appear first.

The assistant

The floating assistant answers from a fixed list of questions and answers stored on this site. It does not send your messages to any third party and does not remember them after you close it. It is automated and clearly labelled as such.

Cookies and storage

The site stores your theme preference (light or dark) in your browser's local storage. The client portal demo stores a session flag. Neither is sent to us.

Your rights

Email contact@icdatt.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. We reply within one business day and complete deletion within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data rights (for example the EU, UK or California), those rights apply and we honour them.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and note the date at the top. Material changes to what we collect will be announced on the site before they take effect.
